A favorite restaurant to go to of ours is The Shack. It’s got great food and it sits right on Koko Marina. I found this photo taken January of this year and thought you would enjoy it. I like the reflection of the moon on the water. I know the picture is grainy. Better luck next time with a photo at night, or the beginning thereof. LOL

Hey, it’s only my opinion.
A Hui Hou

That is a great shot Thom!!
Much appreciated.
I love that — very nice.
Thanks
I am off too, life is such an adventure!
Who created this, I give a lot of credit, isn;t it odd too?
You odd? Hmmm well maybe a little LOL
Gees, I made two errors! I made a comment on a different post, secondly, I misspelled ODD as OFF. Sorry!
I thought so. No worries. LOL
Getting old Ebie darling!
Shhh sweetie…we won’t tell anyone about this ROFLMAO!!!
Anyway, to comment on the right post, I love this photograph. The B/W is so subtle and the single moonshine make this shot so poetic!
Enjoy your weekend!
Many thanks my friend.
Beautiful moody twilight scene!
Well done!
Thanks a bunch my friend
I agree that you can sense a beautiful atmosphere in this shot. Love it. xoxoxo
Mahalo. Glad you feel that way
xoxo
I like it. The silhouettes and shadows and then the lovely light of the moon.
Thanks Nessa. Much appreciated
I like the clear, straight line of light from the moon.
I also like that I didn’t have to fill in my information here today — it was already one! Wooot!!
PS: I’m playing along today. Post up in a few more hours.
Thanks. I’m glad you didn’t have to fill in information.
Your’s was excellent my friend
what a beautiful picture
Thanks. Much appreciated
Awwwoooo! hear the wolf howling… that’s a neat Twilight scene. Nice nice shot, Thom.
Thank you so much my friend
My goodness me, there’s another one. Sorry, Thom
No need to be sorry…like I say when I started seeing it I thought you were trying to make a funny…or a little how shall I say tipsy LOL
I didn’t even notice the grain, I love this shot. Moon reflections on water are always so wonderful.
Well it’s there believe me LOL Glad you enjoyed. Night shots are so hard for me
YIKES!!!
What a terrific capture, Thom! I love nighttime reflections, particularly watery ones and this is superb! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
xoxoxox
Thank you so much Sylvia. Much appreciated. You have a great weekend yourself
Yeah, no filling in of all that personal info – thank you, thank you, thank you. MWAH!
I’m not seeing a lot of grain and it’s pretty cool you could get a long reflected shot of color from that pinpoint of a moon!
I like it my friend!
I’ll send you an email and we can discuss that pay for hiring me! LOL!
Well I’m glad it’s better
Well I can see it. I think I took this with my iPhone, the old one. Glad you enjoyed. I’ll be waiting for the email
Thank you my friend
Beautiful picture! The moonlight is so bright and pretty and a perfect contrast for this lighting. I actually thought it was some kind of light shining on the water (an artificial light), not the actual moon. Very cool!
Sometimes I get very very lucky
Glad you enjoyed. I like this as well
Hi Thom! I love this one, I think it’s one of your best! Have a wonderful weekend.
WOW…thank you my friend. I’m glad you think so
Shalom Thom.
That view of the moon and water alone is enough to make it a pleasing restaurant.
You are most welcome and thank you. Yes it is a perfect place to eat
Meant to tell you, I love not having to fill in all my info and not having to hit the “read this” before it gets away! You do have such a great blog I don’t want to miss anything!
Sylvia
Well I’ve always liked this theme and just decided to go back to it.
Glad it’s easier for you
i love the mood in this shot… some grain kind of fits… after all, it is a night scene
I suppose you are right. I have a bitch of a time with night shots. Glad you like
Another great photo!
Now I know where the Shack is since I went to Cha Cha Cha Salsaria =)
Mahalo my friend. Glad you know where it is
Gorgeous ! what a nice reflection and the place too !
Why thanks. I tend to agree.
Wow that is awesome!! Like it.
Weekend Reflection
Many many thanks.
Amazing how that little speck of moon in the sky reflects so far across the water. Nice capture.
Never thought of that but it’s so true. Thank you my friend.
You are a master of low light photography. This is excellent!
Thank you my friend.
Aloha to you, Thom! A big moon in Hawaii is on the top of my list for favorites when there. Beautiful!
Thank you my friend. Glad you enjoyed
A wonderful capture! Love that coloured stream of light reflection on the water in contrast with the silhouette reflections!
Thank you my friend. I think that I just got lucky with this photo actually.
Thom, that picture’s amazing. It would make a great piece of art for the wall — those figures out on the water, the palm tree, it’s all just *right*. You caught it perfectly.
Well thank you sister. But too much work to do all that. It’s staying right where it is LOL
I know that view! did you take that the night of our going away party? I have one similar, but it is even more grainy and the torch light fades one edge out.
Indeed you do know the area. Nope this was taken after you had moved.
. Glad you liked.
I went back and looked at my photo. It has that floating dock thingy in it. That was a hoot.
Awww the infamous floating dock thingy. LOL
Ohhh very pretty reflection shot, Thom, especially coming from Hawaii! Niiice
Enjoy your weekend
I’m very glad that you enjoyed. I just got lucky on this one
Have a good weekend
Stunning shot Thom. Really beautiful. I always want to jump into your pictures!
Thank you. Just make sure you can swim!! LOL
Thom nights shots are hard, your timing for letting in this streak of light is off the hook! and I have to add whether intentional or not the silhouettes are awesome! great shooting!
xoxoxoxox
Well Sweetie, believe me, it is all unintentional. I never look for that kind of thing. I just point and shot and hope for the best or kiss my big fat white ass goodbye ROFLMAO!!!
I like the grain; it’s not at all intrusive and adds to the mood. Moon on the water… I’ll need to see if I can do that some day!
Well thank you my friend. It was all luck.
