The Simple Things Challenge
I came across this my our dear friend, and woo woo drinker Nessa at The Chrysalis Stage. I just had to participate. Thanks Nessa. You da bomb!!! *belts back a woo woo

Chris from Enchanted Oak is doing the Simple Things Challenge, an easy way to keep your blessings flowing to Haiti. From her blog:
Post your piece this weekend and include a link to my blog. Then pop in here to say you’ve posted your “Simple Things.” Post by midnight, Pacific time, Sunday, and don’t forget to link with me and notify me that you’ve posted. You can borrow the “Simple Things” photo. If you don’t have a blog, a comment on my blog will count too if you tell me so. Let’s keep those blessings flowing.”

Hey, it’s only my opinion.

Oh, Thom, you have some good ones there. Fresh bake goods smell luscious and no one laughs like a child.
The Simple Things Challenge
Thanks my friend. So did you and thanks for pointing me to this. So easy to do for an excellent cause
What a great idea! And a great list from you.
I’m off to check out the link to Heartline Ministries — thanks Thom! And Chris!
You are more than welcome. Glad you enjoyed the list and I hope you join in
It’s so simple
Thom, you have an eclectic list here of simple, beautiful things. You are the first person to say that brushing your teeth is one of your blessings, and now that I see it in print, I am so in agreement with you. Ha! Two bucks go into the hat for Haiti on your behalf! Thank you!
Chris from Enchanted Oak
Mahalo my friend. I’m thankful to you for starting all of this. What a wonderful idea. You are the bomb as well. Have a wonderful Sunday
great list thom! glad you joined in…aroma of bakeries and sounds of waves…so soothing…
Mahalo Brian. Yeah they are two of my favorites
And the fresh smell of coffee from the bakery!
Good list for simple happiness!
Oh yes Ebie. Indeed that is included. I’m glad you enjoyed
Oh! I saw this on Nessa’s blog and meant to do it. I will have to participate after church! Your list is simply quite lovely. Pausing to enjoy the things we take for granted is important.
I decided not to wait until after church — all done!
Yes I saw yours up. It’s wonderful Q. This is a great cause
I love it
Simple things are just the best
Great list – but I don’t like water. I just put a list on mine too!
LOL..don’t like water? YIKES!! Glad you put yours up. It was fantastic.
Thanks for the info, I’ve posted my simple things. What a wonderful opportunity! Hope you have a beautiful day, my friend!
Sylvia
Glad you did my friend. Yours was an excellent list.
You are most welcome as well. Have a wonderful Sunday
Thom, thank you! I participated, linked, and commented over at Chris’ place.
Mahalo my friend. Glad you did. I’m going to yours to read it now. It’s such a great cause
Have a good one
hmmm. Brushing your teeth? That made me chuckle.
BTW, do you know Sam Yanos? He’s been driving DaBus for 17 years, and is the husband of David’s co-worker.
Well believe me I do enjoy doing that. Makes me have the fresh tingly feeling
Yup I know Sam. Good guy.
Great list! There used to be a commercial about “Simple pleasures are the best” — the song to it is going around in my mind.
I have had that song going on as well in my head. Funny how things like that crop up.
Thanks my friend
I used to sing that song all the time! I loved it then and I still love it NOW!
Ditto my darlin’
family and friends (well, some of ‘em) are by no means simple for me…
and so many things we take or granted and don’t even realise their value until they’re gone…
but that was an enjoyable list for a good cause
Glad you enjoyed. And yes we take many for granted. Funny how we do that
As a kid we would sometimes drive past the Nabisco factory and if you passed at just the right time the aroma was awesome. Wonderful list!
I’m up right HERE
Oh I can just imagine what that aroma was like. Yours was fantastic.
Thanks for stopping by
Nice list Thom, I may even try this when I get hope later today, once Haimish and Alexander know I am home for a bit.
Have a Wonderful Sunday
“Have Bus Wench Will Travel”
Thank you my friend. I’m sure they are going to be so glad when you get home
I think I can jump on board for all of those things EXCEPT walking the dog! She pulls my arm practically out of it’s socket! When she was little it was fun… but not anymore! Labs are crazy! And they have NO manners! LOL!
It’s a great list Thom!
Glad you enjoyed my darlin’ I can imagine that with a lab.
Yours was excellent as well
Laughter from a child is at the top of my list. I love hearing kids laugh it means their happy and having fun. The innocence too! Great list.
Boy isn’t that the truth. I love their laugh.
Interesting list…I have to comment on #4. Why in the world do you enjoy brushing your teeth???? I like how they feel after but hate doing it!
Because I just like doing it. My mouth feels the best when it’s all clean and I just enjoy brushing them.
Weird I know
