In the fresh and dried fish section of public markets in third world countries? I wonder if you’ve been to one, Thom. Some store owners have come up with many ways to swat those flies off. One of the most effective strat is the glue paper thingy. There’s something in it that attracts flies and you can see hundreds of flies meet their end on the paper. It’s ickish to look at though.

I’ve never been but would like to see it. You know another thing I’ve heard and tried is to have a plastic bag and fill it with water and put pennies in it. We tried it and it seemed to work but it could have been wishful thinking. And I’ve also bought this thing that twirls around and has long strings on it that keep the flies away goes it goes around in a circle. There are two arms on it. It’s a riot. Works though. Bashful? Thom, I had the same thought. Any workplace with that many flies shouldn’t be boring. I’m just going to assume I’d be Dopey.

Ok – 1st – Thank you sooo much for the award!!
2nd- I would need a new job so would be too busy looking through the want ads to possibly be playing with them blech!
3rd – I don’t do liver. period. Can’t tell you how many fridays I was sent to bed w/o dinner because I wouldn’t compromise. Then when I hit high school and took Bio – I explained to my parent that any of the crap the animal ate and all the additives to their feed ends up being filtered by their liver – and we don’t eat the furnace filter or the oil filter or even the coffee filter now do we?
4th – eggs I love! fortunately my cholesterol levels are good anyway.
