What Flavor Bubble Tea Are You? and Phoenix Rally 7/31/10

written by Thom - August 25th, 2010 at 3:05 pm

Congrats to Waipio for beating Ohio earlier today 6-4. Play Georgia tomorrow. Little League World Series.

I don’t even know what Bubble Tea is and I never wear myself out…pffft

You Are Coffee Bubble Tea

You are a delightful contradiction. You’re always trying to have the best of both worlds! You defy convention and expectations. You do things your way just because you can. You are energetic and unapologetically enthusiastic. You always have something to be hyper about. You go nonstop until you crash. You’re pretty good at wearing yourself out.

PHOENIX RALLY 7/31/10

NOTE: These are not my opinions or thoughts. They were in the email that was sent to me.

If anyone has any doubts about what these illegals think of us and our country, check out these pictures taken by an acquaintance of mine who went to the rally in Phoenix Saturday 7/31/10 in response to SB 1070. The illegals had written all over the AZ and US Flags, laid them on the ground, and were walking on them!

Notice the toilet paper in this one.

Another acquaintance had this to say:

“I shared those pics with my friend who is a cop/detective. I asked him why nobody was punished for desecrating our flags…his response…..In response to your question about the legality of Desecration of the American Flag, you are correct, this is illegal. However, it is a crime with the Federal Government. Meaning the Feds will have to prosecute for the crime and considering they will not prosecute for illegal trespassing into the Country, what makes you think they will prosecute anyone for spray painting and walking on an American flag?????”

I don’t know about you people, but I’m outraged over all of this! Judge Bolton did nothing but to empower the illegals and their bleeding heart liberal supporters! When is enough going to be enough?!!!!!

I have permission from the person that took these pictures to pass them around. They’re being sent to some news stations as well, although I doubt they’ll air them. So please pass these around to all those you know, let people see how the illegals who broke our laws by coming here really feel about us!

Hey, it’s only my opinion.

  1. I was heartsick when I found out the high school I graduated from in Montebello, California was the one where a group of hoodlums replaced our U.S. flag with the Mexican flag and then flew our flag upside down. UGH! We have given illegals and law breakers license to do whatever they want with no penalties. It’s insanity…not tolerance…

  2. We do indeed live in a sad, insane world! And wanting to escape from reality, this is who I am???!!!
    You Are Strawberry Bubble Tea
You are very modern and with the times. You are up on the latest trends.
You are sweet, but there’s nothing safe about you’re approach to life. You’re secretly daring.

You are as unselfish as they come, and you’re always ready to celebrate good news and good times with friends.
You make an ideal partner. You also are the perfect best friend.

    xoxoxoxo

  3. I looked up bubble tea. It doesn’t sound good to me.

  4. You Are Blueberry Bubble Tea
You are very bold, but you aren’t overpowering. You are just don’t tone it down for anyone.
You have a vivid and interesting personality. But you are also sweet and easy going.

Most people have never met anyone like you before. You are a refreshing change of pace.
You are deep and complex. The more friends spend time around you, the more they appreciate you.
I love blueberries that’s true, lol

Can’t comment anything on a flag. All people I know don’t care about flags. I think that must be something typical American, that your flag is so important to you.

    • That is you. Well the US flag is our National Symbol. It is protected by the Constitution. It is very important to the US and stands for all our freedoms, privileges and liberties we are given here in the US.

  5. It’s the same here. Immigrants are allowed to incite racial hatred but let anyone retaliate with the same – you can guess which group get arrested. The government cannot understand that this causes more racial hatred than anything else. Insanity!

  6. I had never heard of bubble tea, either. This was one where I could answer all the questions confidently — oftentimes they don’t have an answer I would really choose, but this one did — but the results are not me at all! I got the same thing you did.

I wouldn’t want to group all illegal aliens in the same category, but this is really sad. Even if they didn’t understand how Americans feel about the flag — don’t all countries have pride in their flag and wouldn’t anyone understand that you don’t disrespect anyone’s flag? I would have thought so, but apparently not.

    • Well I’m glad that I’m not the only one that doesn’t get it LOL :) I am right with you in your line of thought. It’s amazing all people don’t think that way :)

  7. Weren’t those illegals taught how to treat a flag from where they come from… that’s really bad and sad.

    “delightful contradiction” sounds cute :)

  8. Supposedly I am also coffee bubble tea. I have had bubble tea once and it made me ill. I don’t think I’ll be having it again.

I have no problem with people from other countries coming to the U.S. to better their lives. I am not even terribly upset that some do it illegally, that is after all pretty much how our country was built. However, I have great trouble with people coming here to access a better life and then trashing our country and/or trying to turn it into their country. If they don’t like it here, they are free to go home.

    • Damn Q. I wish you would have said what bubble tea is…I’m to lazy to look it up LOL

I agree with you. But I don’t like the illegally coming here. But when you do come to our country, you play by OUR rules and if you don’t like it get the hell out!!! Go back to where you came from. :)

      • Just for you, even if you wouldn’t answer your phone:

The first time I ever heard of Bubble Tea was in Hawaii, and you were with me (in China Town) when I ordered one! We sat at that table for ages and I drank about half the drink, started feeling nauseous and tossed it.

Bubble Tea originated in Taiwan in the early 1980′s at a small tea stand. Elementary school children would look forward to buying a cup of refreshing tea after a long, hard day of work and play. Tea stands were set up in front of the schools and would compete for business with the best selling tea. One concession owner became popular when she started adding different fruit flavorings to her tea. Because of the sweet and cool taste, children loved it. Soon, other concessions heard about the “unique” and popular tea, so they started to add flavoring to their teas. When adding flavor, the tea and flavoring needed to be shaken well for a good all around taste. This formed bubbles in the drink, which came to be known as “Bubble Tea.”

In 1983 Liu Han-Chieh introduced Taiwan to tapioca pearls. The new fad was to add tapioca pearls into a favorite drink. Most of the time tapioca pearls were served in cold infused tea. After the tea and flavor were shaken well, it topped tapioca pearls that were sitting on the bottom of a clear cup. The tapioca pearls also looked like bubbles, thus also became to known as “Bubble Tea.” Bubbles floated on the top your drink and bottom of your drink.

Bubble tea is also known as boba drink, pearl tea drink, boba ice tea, boba, boba nai cha, zhen zhou nai cha, pearl milk tea, pearl ice tea, black pearl tea, tapioca ball drink, BBT, PT, pearl shake, QQ (which means chewy in Chinese) and possible many others.

  9. Hi Thom,
Thanks so much for visiting my blog and your wonderful comments – make my day, as usual.

I am totally incensed at the situation in this post. As a military ‘child’ it irks me to see my father and his fought for the flag these people have desecrated. Really very upsetting. It would be very hard to just stand there and watch without acting.

    On the lighter side:

    You Are Honeydew Bubble Tea
You are a true daredevil. You love to walk on the wild side and take risks.
You get bored with the same old routine. You’re often dying for something new.

You’re the first of your friends to try a menu item or a fashion style. You are very experimental.
Novelty tickles your brain, and you are always on the cutting edge. You are a pioneer.

Hope the coming days are good to you and yours.

    • Well I’m glad you enjoy the comments. I am offbeat as I’m sure you have gathered but oh well. That’s just me.

I so hear you my friend. I know what you are talking about just standing there and watching it. I would be furious. And why this is allowed to happen is way beyond me for what our forefathers and current military personnel have done for this great nation. Just pisses me off. You don’t like it, get the hell out.

I think that is so you :) And you my friend have a great day as well :)

  10. I am the same EXACT Bubble Tea as you – and I have NEVER heard of Bubble Tea before – but I do LOVE being called a Delightful Contradiction! I think that describes me to a TEA! Perhaps even a Bubble Tea…

As for your pictures… THIS is why I don’t watch the news! I ENJOY living in blissful UNAWARENESS of such IDIOCY that goes on not only in my world – but in my own bloomin’ COUNTRY! And if THAT’s the way they feel – GET ‘EM OUTTA HERE!!!

  11. I am almond Bubble tea :) I love Bubble tea but somehow don’t get around to drinking it much.

Thanks for sharing those pictures. Just more evidence that the USA is now the superwimp instead of the superpower. Anyone can do anything to us and we just allow it. So sad.

  12. bubble tea? what the f*** is bubble tea??
anyways, i opened the quiz, looked at the questions (totally dumb!) and closed the page. pffft

as for those photos, i’ll jsuit say things are not always what they appear to be (this looks to me like there’s high probability it was staged – and not by illegal immigrants)

  13. Outrage is cheaper than used flags.

  14. My friends LOVE bubble tea but I have yet to try one myself.

    I don’t know what the appeal is… =)

  15. I don’t think that stepping on a country flag would be allowed here without getting you under interrogation. It symbolizes great disrespect towards a nation. Sometimes people can really be rude and ungrateful. I can understand how outraged you feel.

    You Are Almond Bubble Tea

You are an ideas person, and you are always thinking of new ways to change the world.
Your taste is somewhat unconventional, although you don’t like anything too far out.

You have a reputation for being quirky, and at times, you make sure to fuel it.
You’re definitely adverse to following the crowd. You want to do things your way!

  16. What the hell is Bubble Tea?

    (do I want to know?)

  17. I think bubble tea is really boba. It’s a yummy drink with tapioca balls in it that you drink through a really big straw.

Those illegals showed their hate for the US…so why are they here??????
