2)After I post my Weekend Reflections photo, add your name, country and link to MckLinky
3)Be sure that your link goes directly to your Weekend Reflections post.
4)Comment on other Weekend Reflections participant’s blogs.

Feel free to be creative. Remember this meme is for any type of reflection.

This meme runs Friday 11 am EST through Sunday, so feel free to link your post anytime within that time frame. Join the fun! You can get all the information by clicking on the Weekend Reflections link above.

REFLECTIONS FROM THE MARINA

A favorite restaurant to go to of ours is The Shack. It’s got great food and it sits right on Koko Marina. I found this photo taken January of this year and thought you would enjoy it. I like the reflection of the moon on the water. I know the picture is grainy. Better luck next time with a photo at night, or the beginning thereof. LOL

Have a Reflecting Weekend everyone!

Hey, it’s only my opinion.

  1. That is a great shot Thom!!

  2. I love that — very nice.

  3. I am off too, life is such an adventure!

Who created this, I give a lot of credit, isn;t it odd too?

  4. Gees, I made two errors! I made a comment on a different post, secondly, I misspelled ODD as OFF. Sorry!

  5. Anyway, to comment on the right post, I love this photograph. The B/W is so subtle and the single moonshine make this shot so poetic!

    Enjoy your weekend!

  6. Beautiful moody twilight scene!
    Well done!

  7. I agree that you can sense a beautiful atmosphere in this shot. Love it. xoxoxo

  8. I like it. The silhouettes and shadows and then the lovely light of the moon.

  9. I like the clear, straight line of light from the moon.

I also like that I didn’t have to fill in my information here today — it was already one! Wooot!!

PS: I’m playing along today. Post up in a few more hours.

  10. Awwwoooo! hear the wolf howling… that’s a neat Twilight scene. Nice nice shot, Thom.

  11. I didn’t even notice the grain, I love this shot. Moon reflections on water are always so wonderful.

  12. What a terrific capture, Thom! I love nighttime reflections, particularly watery ones and this is superb! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  13. Yeah, no filling in of all that personal info – thank you, thank you, thank you. MWAH!

I’m not seeing a lot of grain and it’s pretty cool you could get a long reflected shot of color from that pinpoint of a moon!
    I like it my friend!

I’ll send you an email and we can discuss that pay for hiring me! LOL!

    • Well I’m glad it’s better :) Well I can see it. I think I took this with my iPhone, the old one. Glad you enjoyed. I’ll be waiting for the email :) Thank you my friend :)

  14. Beautiful picture! The moonlight is so bright and pretty and a perfect contrast for this lighting. I actually thought it was some kind of light shining on the water (an artificial light), not the actual moon. Very cool!

  15. Hi Thom! I love this one, I think it’s one of your best! Have a wonderful weekend.

  16. Shalom Thom.
That view of the moon and water alone is enough to make it a pleasing restaurant.

  17. Meant to tell you, I love not having to fill in all my info and not having to hit the “read this” before it gets away! You do have such a great blog I don’t want to miss anything!

  18. i love the mood in this shot… some grain kind of fits… after all, it is a night scene :)

  19. Another great photo!

Now I know where the Shack is since I went to Cha Cha Cha Salsaria =)

  20. Gorgeous ! what a nice reflection and the place too !

  21. Amazing how that little speck of moon in the sky reflects so far across the water. Nice capture.

  22. You are a master of low light photography. This is excellent!

  23. Aloha to you, Thom! A big moon in Hawaii is on the top of my list for favorites when there. Beautiful!

  24. A wonderful capture! Love that coloured stream of light reflection on the water in contrast with the silhouette reflections!

  25. Thom, that picture’s amazing. It would make a great piece of art for the wall — those figures out on the water, the palm tree, it’s all just *right*. You caught it perfectly.

  26. I know that view! did you take that the night of our going away party? I have one similar, but it is even more grainy and the torch light fades one edge out.

  27. Ohhh very pretty reflection shot, Thom, especially coming from Hawaii! Niiice

    Enjoy your weekend

  28. Stunning shot Thom. Really beautiful. I always want to jump into your pictures!

  29. Thom nights shots are hard, your timing for letting in this streak of light is off the hook! and I have to add whether intentional or not the silhouettes are awesome! great shooting!

    • Well Sweetie, believe me, it is all unintentional. I never look for that kind of thing. I just point and shot and hope for the best or kiss my big fat white ass goodbye ROFLMAO!!!

  30. I like the grain; it’s not at all intrusive and adds to the mood. Moon on the water… I’ll need to see if I can do that some day!
