A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.
While on the operating table she had a near death experience.. Seeing God she asked “Is my time up?”
God said, “No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live.”
Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck.
She even had someone come in and change her hair colour and brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.
After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.
Arriving in front of God, she demanded, “I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn’t you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?”

God replied: “Shit! I didn’t recognize you.”
The Waipio Little League team played Georgia in the elimination bracket of the Little League World Series this morning. Waipio came out victorious 12-5. Congratulations Waipio! Keep up the good work. A big congratulations goes out to Georgia as well. They made it a very good game and gave it their best. Waipio now advances to the US final against Texas. The game will be played tomorrow morning, August 28th at 10 am Honolulu time. Good luck Waipio!

The kids have been watching the LL World Series – I’m hoping they’ll learn about baseball and maybe catch the bug. They got excited seeing Hawaii, and we’ll keep cheering them on – good luck to them!

The Little League WS is so bitter-sweet. I love seeing the elation on the faces of the winners, but my heart goes out to the kids who lose.
I agree but it is a good learning experience.

Ah, I like starting Saturday off with funny vs. Laundry…yeah, I’m doing laundry too.
Since I work for the County Rec. Dept., I KNOW how popular that series is…in fact for years, the citizens thought all we did was baseball for kids. So GO HAWAII GO! I love seeing their faces light up at a victory earned through their own hard work…outside.
