Thom — I just LOVE this song. I don’t know how many times I danced to it since it came out in ’79. I don’t dance much any more, and only ever by myself, but today this song had me dancing around in my computer chair. Even after the music ended, my feet wouldn’t stop tapping! Wonderful, wonderful!
And I’m glad you liked my TTT submission for today. An oldie but goodie by one of the all-time greats. Did you know Nat Cole only ever considered himself a piano player but, when he got a job where they expected him to sing, a star was born?
Glad you enjoyed this. This song is very addicting if you ask me. I didn’t know that about Nat Cole…thanks for the info. He’s one of the best all time.
LOL too funny. First one is my nephew Ali’i. Second one is Jackie, hanai sister, Myrna, hanai mom, Manu, Hanai niece, Scheel, Hanai brother since passed away, Pat Scheel’s girlfriend, me and Ali’i. Now you don’t have to wonder LOL
And now your “Birthday tune” is finally out of my head. Thanks for replacing it with a good one.
Now I have to go back and match names to photos. I came to your blog late (followed Irish Susan over) so I still feel like I’m reading a book and not understanding who all the characters are. But I’ll get there.
This is one of my favorite Bob Seger songs, I’ve had it on cassette, CD’s and now it’s on my mp3. Great choice for this week Thom. I love that ‘late for the door’ shot.
Roflmao….I’m rolling. To be truthful, I almost did the very same song this week; I love it so. When I hear it [and I'm playing the video right now!!]…..I have to have this song BLARING.
Love the ‘sitting’ photo…this is priceless Thom!!! Well done.
