Three Word Thursday #52
A TP4WW Update: Sometimes in life you make a change and it doesn’t seem to work out. Other times it does. Well I made one that isn’t working as I envisioned so another change has happened. I am going to delete the blog Portrait of Words and move everything back to TP4WW. The Monthly Meme Portrait of Words will continue, but it will be from here. Having more than one blog, and I have three is too much and I’m not getting the readership on POW that I wanted so that’s what influenced my decision. I am sorry that I had you, those that did, bookmark and get everything into place with that blog so if you can delete it I would appreciate it. As I’ve said since I started blogging, my blog is always a work in progress and this is just more progress I’m making. Mahalo.

It is that time of the week. One I look forward to a great deal. And by the way Quilly, mahalo for hosting Three Word Thursday. It’s a blast and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy it. Each week Quilly at Quintessentially Quilly gives us three words to compose a story. You can get further instructions here or you can click the picture above.
swoopstake, adv. in an indiscriminate manner
wanion, n. unlucky
The Macaw
Trying to help the poor old lady, Scooter cried out with a gardyloo:
“Lady watch out! Can’t you see what is above you?”
Not hearing Scooter the old lady continued to sit on the bench reading her comic book. Scooter feared for the worst and began waving his arms and making a commotion that was not swoopstake. If anyone would have seen him they would have thought the young man had gone insane. Finally the old lady noticed Scooter as he yelled again “WATCH OUT!”
But it was too late. The old lady was very wanion. A bird from the tree hovering over the bench took a crap and it landed right in the middle of her comic book just as she was closing it and crap spewed all over her.
Scooter whistled and the Macaw flew on to his shoulder and he laughed all the way down the pathway.
Some people just don’t heed advice he thought.
Have a great Three Word Thursday
Hey, it’s only my opinion.
A Hui Hou

well, that was a shitty story!
LOL!
Shitty indeed LOL
so i guess Haikus will be back here too =).
i know what you mean about managing more than one blog. it’s tough!
Yup everything is going to be here.
Great story, Thom! OMG, I think I just misuse the word, GARDYLOO! LOL
I really like the story . Poor old woman.
Okie dokie. I can understand what you mean. It is hard for people to go to two blogs. This blog REPRESENTS YOU and it is hard to think of POW as you and when you did that, you are splitting your readership, in a sense.
Whatever you decide, I WILL SUPPORT YOU!

Not so fast my friend. I could be way wrong with that word. I’ve been known to use plenty wrong. LOL. I just do what I feel.
Yeah it’s better to me, to just have one main one. Not so much to follow. Easier as well.
Mahalo my friend.
Well I think that’s a wise decision – trying to do several blogs isn’t easy, and takes up so much time!
Meanwhile I love this story — especially when Scooter turned out not quite so heroic as I first thought!
Just easier keeping everything in one place. Glad you enjoyed the story.
What a brat. It probably would have been much worse for her if she’d looked up at his command.
Damn why didn’t I think of that LOL
