Three Word Thursday #48
It is that time of the week. One I look forward to a great deal. And by the way Quilly, mahalo for hosting Three Word Thursday. It’s a blast and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy it. Each week Quilly at Quintessentially Quilly gives us three words to compose a story. You can get further instructions here or you can click the picture above.
This week’s words are:
cromack n. a staff, stave or walking stick
accidie n. sloth, tupor
fissiparous adj. tending to break up into parts
DECISIONS
Old man Manfred needed a new cromack and needed it quickly. His was old and was fissiparous with each step he took. He worried he would soon become like an accidie. Manfred knew that having one in the house was enough, and further, how would he be able to wait hand and foot on his wife without it?

Ya know… I first saw that cromack word over on Nessa’s blog yesterday – and I thought, at first, she was making a funny! Sounded to me like a toss between a crow bar and a Lo-jack! LOL!

You’ve really got some skills writing. I am working on getting Thunks posted earlier. Of course I know that means I will have to write more of them. But, what the hell. It’s a quirky meme and I enjoy trying to keep the quirkiness in but asking a slightly more complicated question…

Q I had a hell of a time with accidie. Out of all the words ever this one I’ve never had so much trouble with. It took me forever to just come up with this. Totally my worst 3WT EVER!!! LOL
