Barbara at Stray Thoughts celebrates her 53rd birthday today and for the life of me I don’t know why I didn’t have that on my calendar to post it earlier. Anyway, Barbara I do hope that you had a wonderful birthday and I wish you many many more. HBD my friend 
The Waipio Little League team opened today against Georgia in the Little League World Series. They started off with a 2 run homer in the first inning but that is as much as they could score and ended up losing the game 6-2. Congratulations to Georgia and congratulations to Waipio for making it to the Series and even though they didn’t win, it was a good game. I’m very proud of them.

I love Little League! I wish Luz was playing t-ball… I guess I’ll have to wait for Baby Boy to come along! But HE’LL probably be a soccer star too… (my daughter doesn’t care for baseball…)

My sons were watching parts of what looked like a little league game on TV when we went out to eat tonight.
Hopefully they win tomorrow (I think they play tomorrow, right?) and thankfully it’s double elimination!
But yeah–regardless all of Hawaii is so proud!

Happy Birthday, hope it was special. Watched some of the world series while lunching out yesterday. Man, those little kids play well, but I wonder how hard that is on their growing bodies. The speed the pitcher was throwing really was something.
