“Hi and welcome to Wednesday Wickedness. We are like other memes in that we will ask you ten questions each and every Wednesday. But our little “twist” is that each week we will pick a famous person and pick ten of their quotes. Each of our questions will be based on the quotes. Got it? Great! Let’s begin this week’s meme! Today we picked George Steinbrenner(who passed away Tuesday morning at age 80). Here’s Wednesday Wickedness!

5. “It is unbelievable to me that the highest-paid team in baseball would start the season in such a deep funk.” Do you think money always buys greatness? What the hell doesn’t money buy?

6. “I take my last phone call at home at about 11pm.” What time is too late to call you? Any time I’m sleeping so you’d had best know my schedule.

7. “Don’t talk to me about aesthetics or tradition. Talk to me about what sells and what’s good right now.” Do you think tradition matters? Depends upon the tradition. I mean just because your parents are drug addicts should you be one?

8. “And what the American people like is to think the underdog still has a chance.” Do you tend to root for the underdog? Sometimes. If I don’t like the underdog I wont.

9. “I don’t think I ever could exceed my father’s successes. He was a completely satisfied man, he knew what he wanted to accomplish and he accomplished it. I did do a lot, though, to try to please him.” Do you ever feel that you want to exceed your parents successes? I don’t believe you can. One’s success is entirely their own. Success is all about how you define it.

Monday Mayhem – #36 ~ The Red, White and Blue meme

1. Man. The man had a red, white and blue star tattooed on his buttocks.

2. Woman. The woman had red, white and blue panties in her dresser drawer.

3. Car. There was a red car parked in a tow zone that the blue and white tow truck found.

4. Underwear. The underwear that the man was suppose to be wearing had red, white and blue balloons on them but Sam refused to wear them and ended up giving everyone the full monty when his pants split open.

5. Socks. The woman darned her husbands socks with red, white and blue thread.

6. Pizza. Domino’s is very proud of the fact that their pizza is delivered in red, white and blue boxes. (Note this was corrected Monday from Papa John’s to Domino’s. Thank you Carletta

7. Stupid. Jennifer felt very stupid not knowing that the red, white and blue bras were color coded to cup size.

8. Smart. The red, white and blue first place ribbon that Andy received, made him feel smart in the Pee Wee Herman Name That Tune contest.

9. Sexy. That gay boy felt very sexy as he tried on all the red, white and blue boas in Pride Is Us!

10. Strong. The bartender filled a white glass with vodka adding red and blue berries to it for color.

11. Twins. The twins despised the red, white and blue hat their mother made them wear to Church every Sunday.

12. Bus. The bus company painted their entire fleet red, white and blue.

13. Harriet. Harriet accidentally but red, white and blue sprinkles in her Margarita for taste and vowed never again to make that mistake.

14. Monday. K-Mart and a red light and white light special to go along with their blue light special on Monday.

15. Seriously. Seriously how can you come up with 15 sentences that contain the words red, white and blue? pffft.

1. I have updated my profile. I’m at a point in my life where I know exactly what I want. Woo Hoo!!! Good for you.

3. I really enjoy being in nature, feeling and listening to the crunching of leaves under my feet, listening to the waves hit the shore, staying home and listening to the rain and watching a good movie with someone nice, to playing shuffleboard together as we age. I take it your a naturist!
