Join the fun!

Silly Haiku Wednesday is hosted by Jenn at You know… that Blog?. Mahalo Jenn for hosting.

The basics:

Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!)

This week’s theme is: FREESTYLE (WHATEVER YOU WANT!)

The Pool: Blue and Cold.
Gymnastics: Rings, Mat, Horse, Bar.
Too much exercise!

Have a Silly Haiku Wednesday!

Hey, it’s only my opinion.

  1. This Haiku thing is too intellectual for me, lol ! I just thought about “The Devil rides to work on a snow mobile” and wonder on what he is riding in Africa ?? or even here, we don’t have snow mobiles, we are good people !

    • Oh your just killing me her Madame Chat…this is too funny. Maybe it can run on any type of terrain you think? To intellectual for me. LOL. It’s 5 7 5 syllables of anything really. You’d be great at it I know you would. Get Arthur to help you ROFLMAO!!!

  2. Good morning/afternoon,
I love the videos, they’re so funny! I agree that sounds like too much excercise and work to me. I like to swim but the idea of getting into the cold water puts me off a lot. Your gymnastic man looks like his hip is dislocated! Hope you have a great day today.

  3. Your haiku’s always are good for a laugh! The cartoons make it even better. Thanks again for sharing your funny haiku!

  4. I love haiku, but my life doesn’t need any more complications right now!

  5. I guess that is why we’ve never been in the Olympics. :D

  6. LOL exercise is a good thing! I finally went back to the gym yesterday and I feel it today ;)

  7. Another clever one!

Whenever I think of freestyle I think of dancing w/the stars! LOL!

  8. Very cool since the winter Olympics are upon us Thom!I am off to the hospital but I’ll posy my Haiku when I get back, but it won’t be as clever as yours!

  9. too much exercise!
my motto: if i have to walk, i don’t go!

  10. I used to love the balance beam and the uneven parallel bars. I wonder where that girl athlete went?

  11. if excercising
    is too tiresome for you
    watch sports on TV
    :)

(and no, i’m not proud of this “haiku”)

  12. You do KNOW I forGOT this until I got here… right? Mine’s UP now! ROFL!

    I LOVE the Olympics!!!
    Good one!

  13. reading your blog is a workout today!

  14. Oh that’s clever! I was originally going to do something about freestyle, breast and butterfly but got caught up in my epic saga instead!

  15. Those animations are hilarious! Great haiku–like always :)

  16. I’m something like Gattina about haiku – too intellectual. In fact I have no brains for that lol… but I do appreciate a work of art (wait, where did I hear that? rofl…) but really Thom, I enjoy your haikus. I also wonder if I could ever do even one lol!

    • Oh don’t sell your self so short my friend. You would be excellent at these. The way you write even just your intro’s to all your posts…so get on it LOL :)

  17. I’m tired just watching that guy try to swim in that one inch space! LOL!

  18. Why do I get the feeling that you chose the images first? ;) heehee – good one!

Guess what? We broke a record with yesterday’s SHW!! And it wasn’t even my wonderful menfolk (Knarf and J-B) who took us over! WOOOOOT!

    • pffft…bite me…This beach boy did the haiku first and got the pictures to fit LOL But sometimes, just sometimes I get the picture first I will admit LOL. Glad there was a record broken. And what you think I’m some girl or animal or something? pffft ROFLMAO!!! I guess I don’t count…so now I’m gonna pout Ooo I’m a poet and don’t know it LOL

  19. I’m exhausted from all of that workout.
