Sensational Haiku Wednesday – Travel

written by Thom - June 29th, 2010 at 3:01 pm

Sensational Haiku Wednesday is hosted by Jenn at You know… that Blog?. Mahalo Jenn for hosting.

The basics:

Haiku is simple! It is 3 non-rhyming lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively (a great way to use your fingers!). You can get further information by clicking HERE.

This week’s theme is: TRAVEL

Long lines and cramped seats
Your butt aches, legs cramp, no food
Flying is a joy

Have a Sensational Haiku Wednesday!

Hey, it’s only my opinion.

A Hui Hou

  1. All too true. It’s only advantage is making the misery of travel a little shorter.

  2. I agree and my legs are about a yard shorter than yours!

  3. Not to mention delays and lost luggage…

  5. I sense a great bit of sarcasm in your poetry today. I like sarcasm.

  6. Am I the only one who loves flying?? I just love being in the clouds, and heading… away! Travel is wonderful! :) Great haiku, my sarcastic friend!

  15. Flying can be a joy in first class =). another perk I miss about working for the airlines…I don’t think I’ll ride first class again in a loooooong time, if ever again! LOL!
