Scenic Sunday 77, a Birthday and an Anniversary

Last year in October I visited my Mom and family in Carson City, Nevada. I took some shots of my sisters house and the park next door that have huge Cottonwoods. The red/green tree was just pretty I thought. I don’t know what kind of tree it is unfortunately. Behind that tree is the Sierra Nevada Mountains. My Grandfathers ashes are scattered almost directly behind the tree. It’s a beautiful site. You can see more pictures of us visiting him there by clicking here and visiting my Flickr account. I was a little late to see the color changing at it’s best but you can see some of it even though it was a little late in the year. And of course the deer that is up by my Grandparents house. They get tons of them in their yard all year long. I hope that you enjoy them.

Lovely sceneries ! I remember Nevada as rather very dry and rocky and Carson City says something to me. It was the time when we discovered the States every two years from 1988 on til 1997 where I have been there for the last time. I think we almost have seen everything what a tourist has to see, from North to South and East and West. After 12 days travelling we stayed 10 days with my aunt in Madison/Wisc.

Good pictures. When I lived in Crystal Falls we had so many deer stopping by to eat our flowers I learned to really dislike deer.
When the come down to my Grandparents they eat everything there. Fruit off the trees, flowers…they are sorta unbearable that way. Thanks for the Christmas card
