Saturday 9 – Wedding Bell Blues

1. If you have been or are married, tell us about your wedding. If you are not, tell us how would you want it to be. See number 6 below. These are similar questions and deserve the same response.

2. What age would you encourage your children to get married? Whenever they wanted to be saddled with the good old ball and chain.

3. Who got married at the last wedding that you attended? I dunno. I have CRS so I have no clue.

4. Do you enjoy weddings and receptions? Yup, free food and booze.

5. Have you cried at a wedding? Please, me cry? Not on your life.

6. Would you prefer a lavish event or a intimate ceremony? Neither. It would be at the court house, during lunch, with a Justice of the Peace.

7. Have you ever been in some one’s wedding party? If yes, do tell. Yeah, I was chief janitor and bottle washer.

8. Does a wedding make you happy and sentimental or grouchy and skeptical? This says it all:

    Pheeww, what a questionary ! After 40 years of marriage I don’t even remember how it feels to be married or not, lol ! (My husband is Italian) One thing is for sure I didn’t cry !

    You know what I like about you is your “Smart Ass” attitude. Loved the Marilyn n’ Billy song. Congrats on the award. I wasn’t over to visit Jientje so don’t know if Buford Quillster was nominated. Sounds like Sour Grapes to me.

Was Cat on Conan? That woman has legs for days. Well you know how Trav is LOL. The week she wore pants he was fit to be tied :) LOL

    I never could understand why people cry at weddings, either. And if you cry at a wedding, which is a happy event, does that mean you laugh at a funeral, a sad event?

    Dangerous questions! I wanted to just run away for our wedding but got outvoted, one to one. Had to the big church white dress thing and HATED it, but our reception was in a friend’s pub and lasted until 5:30 the next morning, thanks be to God.

    If CRS stands for Can’t Remember Shit, I’m there with you. I tried to think of our last wedding, and uh…uh….uh… Dang. Oh Lord this is just sad. Is it age, or the drinking I used to do?

      Yes you got that right. It is can’t remember shit LOL. It’s the drinking that I still do LOL. Your wedding sounds like it was fun, even though you were a blushing bride in a white dress hating every minute of it LOL

        Thanks! The wedding sucked (from what I remember) but the party after was great; lots of Elvis impersonations and flying underpants. Very Irish.

    Thom once again you make me smile with your most creative answers. I love that song DIVORCE and used to sing it when we were fighting as a young couple now after 22 years it does not bother him and sometimes sings with me LOL

    I had to sit and listen to the videos – boy they sure do take me back. I used sing with Tammy at the breakfast table listening to the transitor radio before school.
    My wedding: small, intimate, in the chuch I grew up in, and almost 35 years later I wouldn’t change a thing.
