Saturday 9 – Heatwave

1. It’s July. How has the weather been where you are? Well it hasn’t been to one of the hospitals or doctors here yet.

2. What is the best way for you to beat the heat? Probably with a wooden spoon.

3. “It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.” Do you buy that? How much does it cost?

4. Do you like hot tubs or saunas? Hot tubs. Those bubbles are ooooh sooo well….bubbly.

5. What’s the hottest you’ve ever been? So hot I

6. How many times do you hit the beach in the summer? Never. I go to the beach but I never hit it.

7. When you were a kid, what did you do in the summer? Played and drove my Mom nuts I’m sure.

8. Surfing. Have you ever gotten on a surfboard? Body surf? Yes and yes.

9. What’s your favorite summer song?

    LOL at the wooden spoon! My grandmother and an aunt used the wooden spoon as the great equalizer when it came to discipline.

    Thanks for mentioning Jason’s birthday!

    I grew to hate that phrase “It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity” when we visited my husband’s folks in Idaho, with 10% humidity, and I had sweat streaming down my face, and when people would say that I’d just want to scream. Hot is hot.

      I’ll tell you a secret…I’ve only tried both once and never again. I’m no good at it and I don’t like going in the ocean. I don’t know what critters are in there that are going to eat me LOL. Have a great weekend :)

    Interesting answers. So you never hit the beach but you do beat the heat with a wooden spoon. You seem to have inner conflict which you need to work out. A good Sauna would seat it out of you.

      ROFLMAO…It’s called that’s how I keep all the kids in line. It’s right on top of my desk and everytime they get out of hand I threaten them with it LOL. Force of habit. But now since they have gotten older I threaten with a rake Go figure LOL.
