Musical Monday – What Moves You? ~ Dedicate a song to a friend or loved one
Musical Monday is all about making friends and sharing the music that we love. And we think the more the merrier! I would like to thank Diane at Good Mourning, Glory! for hosting Musical Monday.
Because our Irish Wench Susan at Stony River Farm has a big trip coming up and about to begin a new adventure, I thought she could use all the help she could get. So Susan this is dedicated to you. And my daughter’s ringtone on my phone to “Hillbilly Bone” by Blake Shelton.

You won’t believe this but it is the honest truth. I saw the title about dedicate a song to a friend at the top and this is exactly the song I thought of.
Carol King was my ‘Idol’. Her Tapestry eight track (yeah, I’m old) was the first I bought myself when I had my first summer job.
We like a lot of the same music I’ve noticed.
Oh I remember buying that 8 Track tape as well. Along with the Monkey’s LOL. I have her whole album on my iTunes. I love it.

Now, regarding your comment…..I can’t believe it about the Rockies….and since we’re in TX the only two locally televised games are Astros and on the other sports station…the Texans. And to think….I missed the most wonderful outcome of the Colorado game. Dang!! Of course, Bud and I were out all day celebrating his birthday, so I woulda missed it anyway. LOL
But to be sure, I’m heading out on the ‘net to get recaps of it all.
