Musical Monday – What Moves You?

Musical Monday is all about making friends and sharing the music that we love. And we think the more the merrier! I would like to thank Diane at Good Mourning, Glory! for hosting Musical Monday.
Well this has got some good music to it but it’s the video that is just wonderful. I was very touched by this video when I saw it and just decided to share it. And I thought it was appropriate for Memorial Day. It’s got me moving this week. Enjoy!
Hey, it’s only my opinion.

What a wonderful choice for Memorial Day!
Glad you enjoyed
Thanks Thom…now I’m crying like a baby! Wonderful choice for Memorial Day!!
Glad you enjoyed. I had tears watching this too. It’s amazing
I don’t know how anyone could watch that without getting teary. I have to say, though, if one of my loved ones came home like that, I sure wouldn’t want out first encounter to be in a public setting.
Agreed. But if you didn’t know your loved one was doing this you wouldn’t have a choice. If it were me I would probably behave like a complete idiot and just have a breakdown LOL
Here I am in tears.
My cousin Jimmy came home from Viet Nam at 2:00 a.m. without calling home first. He was quite surprised to find the door locked and had to knock. Aunt Flo looked out the peephole and didn’t recognize him, so she wouldn’t let him in. She told him to get lost or she’d call the police. He spent the night in the yard!
OMG Q what a story. Something you will never forget. Poor Jimmy that first night
You’ve got me tearing up, Thom.
Sorry about that in a good way.
Okay, you’ve made me cry this morning.
The thing about soldiers coming home is that we often don’t know when they are coming back until they are physically on the airplane and that airplane takes off. It doesn’t take long for military families to learn that counting down to a specific date is a heart-breaking exercise in disappointment, so we don’t tell the kids anything definite until we KNOW our soldier is actually coming home.
It must be an experience I tell you to have to go through something like that. I can see why kids aren’t told
It’s hard enough on the adults
One time was enough for me!
And I’m lucky. So many of my friends have been through multiple deployments.
And I’m sure it never gets any easier!!
Anyone that can watch that and not get teary eyed (balling my brains out) well I just don’t know anyone like that,
thank God.
Wow!!!!!!!!!
Great Choice.
Thank you my friend. You are so right. It is very touching and emotional
