Musical Monday – What Moves You?

Last week the wonderful Diane announced the one year anniversary of Musical Monday. WOOT!!

Congratulations comments and graphics
In addition she is having a Musical Monday ~ One Year Anniversary Giveaway!. How cool is that? Mahalo Diane! You are the bomb. Direct from her blog comes the following:
To commemorate Musical Monday’s one year anniversary I’m doing a giveaway – a $15 ITunes card or Amazon.com gift certificate (your choice) so you can grab yourself some new tunes!
All you have to do to be in the drawing is play along this week and/or next week – January 25th and February 1st. (If you play both weeks your name goes in the hat twice, and doubles your chance of winning.)
And if you help spread the word by mentioning the giveaway in your MM post, I’ll throw your name in an additional five times (each week)!
I’ll announce the winner in February 8th’s MM post!
Easy enough, right?”
You can head on over to Good Mourning Glory! – Musical Monday ~ One Year Anniversary Giveaway! for any more information.
I can’t sing worth nothing. But every time we would go out and sing Karaoke my hanai mom, when she went, would always want this song sang. So I would give it the old college try. I’d also clear the place. LOL Anyway, After The Lovin by Engelbert Humperdinck has got me moving this week. I hope you enjoy.

Hey, it’s only my opinion.

i added you to the list! hope you’re having a great time!!
Oh Lordy. Not this song.
LOL But I do love me some Karaoke! I’m more of an Aretha Franklin’s Respect or Freda Payne’s Band of Gold kinda girl.
Happy MM! Enjoy your blogger break!
I want to hear you sing this song! How mcuh wine does it take to get you on stage?
When I saw it was Englebert Humperdinck, I thought “What th–” and then I read the story. Aaawww, you’re such a good son! ROFL at clearing the place! I can’t sing either — even my babies would cry louder when I tried to sing them to sleep. *sigh*
I’m waiting for Diane’s to load in another tab, to sign you in. You know how slow my poor dialup is; well I had your blog loaded and ready at 8am, and here it is nearly quarter past I’m still waiting for Diane’s. Ugh, from now on in my life when I buy a house the first question will be “so how’s the internet connection?” LOL
My grandmother was crazy for Engelbert and since she had a tremendous influence on my young life, I, too, love the man and his music. Great song choice, my friend!
what a sweet way to honor Diane. I hope you enjoyed your vacation.
Wow I’d love to hear you sing karaoke Thom
Oh…. after the loving…. applause applause!
Uh oh…I’m sorry to say I really didn’t enjoy that song
