That was excellent! My father was in the Philippines during WWII but I’ve never gotten to visit. Yet. ‘Which country does Thom live closer to’ seems a bit of a trick question when you’re in the middle of the Pacific but also in a US state LOL
And OMG don’t start me on color/colour — you wouldn’t believe how many times people “correct” my (always perfect *ahem*) spelling in a forum or in comments.
I wonder if Christine (in Paris) saw this yet?
