Microfiction Monday #46

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the photo or link above to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215. This meme is easy and it’s a blast. Mahalo Susan for hosting. This is great fun and I encourage everyone to participate.

Uncle Joe, moving very slow, looked at the sign.
“Grannie’s moonshine got me all confused” he said.
Hey, it’s only my opinion.
A Hui Hou

Gotta watch that Moonshine.
Have a great week.
My MM is here.
That you do
That stuff will get you every time! LOL! Believe me I know how it is with old coots!!! Have a great week, my friend!

LOL…it sure will. You have a great week as well
Uncle Joe must not live in Coolville. It’s not cool to be drunk!
Funny MFM, Thom. You made me giggle.
So true Q so true
Glad you enjoyed
I’ll have a shot of that please. Hold the ice.
Isn’t that “neat” LOL
I’ll have some of that! LOL. What a great story.
Have a lovely week.

Love it Thom
more happening in coolville
ROFLMAO…excellent comment my friend. Too funny
Moonshine has a rather twisty history that always seems to be locked away with the old folks! A fun micro!
That it does doesn’t it. Glad you enjoyed
Loved the ‘shine references.
It sort of stirs something in memories.
Really like the blog layout by the way.
Glad you liked the reference and mahalo on the compliment for the blog
Poor old coot. Hope he doesn’t plow into the sign.
Have a great week, Thom.
You and me both. LOL
That’s somewhere near the junction, ain’t it? I’ll have to ask Delbert.
I’m sure Delbert would said Yup it is
Blame it on the moonshine! LOL
Best excuse I’ve ever heard of LOL
That moonshine sure will knock the cool right out of you making 8 miles a really long trip.
It will be an eternity LOL
Made in his own bathtub! Course, if he’s seein’ double does that make it 50 miles to Belpre?
Very clever and that is sure does
LOL
Uncle Joe needs to COOL IT on the moonshine!
That he does my darlin’
oh well, according to the comments i’m obviously missing some reference. i’m sorry but i don’t get this although it sounds good to me as it is
Check out THIS LINK and Grannie refers the The Beverly Hillbilies.
I feel sorry for those too young to understand these references.
Made me giggle.
The oldies certainly were the goodies. Glad you enjoyed.
Would you believe this sign is only about twenty minutes away from me – honestly!
You might very well find some moonshine in Coolville.
Woos. How cool is that!
Just pass the whiskey boy…Thanks for dropping by to read my 140. Hope your week goes well
Indeed. You are most welcome and thanks for stopping by here
Well, at least he was going slowly! Fun one this week–and I love your blog look too! Cheers.
Thank you my friend. Indeed slow and steady. Glad you like. Have a great week!
OMG. That is THE West-Virginiaiest story in the bunch, it’s GREAT! I’d love to watch you coming up with these things.
I’ve missed you — my laptop completely fried itself and Miss D (get this) bought me a MacBook Pro. Was it love? Pity? Gratitude? Bribe? Who CARES?! ROFL But I can finally catch up with you and see what you’ve been up to — damn this time difference, I never know when to call.
xox
OMG a Mac Book Pro? Who cares why she bought it for you. Now you have no excuses. I’m glad you are back up and running. I don’t think you would like to watch me come up with these reason being I never know when I’m going to come up with it. Never know when it’s going to happen. It’s like next week…I was driving the bus and saw a boat in the harbor and it just clicked LOL
