microfictionmonday

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the photo or link above to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215. This meme is easy and it’s a blast. Mahalo Susan for hosting. This is great fun and I encourage everyone to participate.

The Picture

“Listen up Alice. I just got out of this damn hat let’s go!”

“Dorothy I need to borrow your ruby reds? Someone has a hare stuck big time.”

Guest Book for Dr. John

Have a sticky Microfiction Monday.

Hey, it’s only my opinion.

  1. OMG! What a hoot! Yeah, I’m still looking for my ruby reds! Have a great evening, Thom, and a great week to come.

  2. Ohhhhh noooooooo! Tsk!

  3. Too funny sounds like the rabbit is a little impatient.

  4. Huh??? I don’t get the 2nd sentence. What are ruby reds? Shoes as in the Wizard of Oz? or something else?

  5. OMG is right, two fantasy movies in one story.
BTW I have a couple pairs of ruby reds.
So funny Thom, would hate to have a Hare up my….NOSE or something like that!

  6. OMG – where it was stuck?? LOL!

  7. This rabbit needs one of those Ruby Reds planted up his backside.

  8. lol! That is a hoooooooooooooot a wild hare-e hoot. You are a pro at microfiction fun.

  9. Loved it! Let’s mix our fantasies and have some REAL fun! Great job Thom. Cheers bud!

  10. Love it! Fits right in with the upcoming movie release.
    This made me smile. :)

  11. Great take on the picture Thom, Alice and Dorothy together. Too funny, Susan outdid herself this week.

  12. Very nice. That’s how things got started.

    Mad Hatter

  13. LOL! Alice would make a great wife — no better pasttime than to keep a man waiting!

I hope Dorothy manages to get those shoes off before a house falls on her–Harvey there might just lose it.

  14. I can just SEE the picture.
    Ruby shoes, huh?
    Great one.

    Have you a great week.

    hugs
    shakira

  15. LOL another good one Thom. :)

  16. hare today and hare tomorrow!

  17. Very Funny Thom. And Harvey was the imaginary rabbit in the Jimmy Stewart of the same name. Harvey was 6 feet tall…it’s worth getting on Netflix.

  18. Yeah, the hat trick would get old for the rabbit after a while.

  19. no matter what species, males seem to have no understanding of females’ needs (or is it vice versa?)
    great story

  20. For once I wish I played this one…because do you know how cool it would be if a magician could turn themselves into a rabbit???

  21. Gee is that any way to talk to a date on the way to the Wonderland Ball? :)

Should I be worried that we’re sharing a similar brain wave? Or is it merely the result of a Vulcan mind meld? ;)

  22. I know Alice, not that Odeon boycotts the movie. I totally forgot Wizard of Oz but then I have never watched it in its entirety (and Cj was disturbing my googleless effort to remember last night)

You got prowess at spinning microfiction fun. How wonderful is that!

    • ACK…you’ve never watched the Wizard of Oz in it’s entirety? Oh you need to LOL Mahalo my friend. ROFLMAO Brilliant with Odeon…good thing CJ wasn’t here to interrupt my googling of that LOL
