microfictionmonday

Susan at Stony River Farm hosts Microfiction Monday. She posts a picture and you compose a story in 140 characters. You can click on the photo or link above to get further instructions. To help you along she has posted a wonderful link that counts your characters for you! How great is that! You can get the counter at Design 215. This meme is easy and it’s a blast. Mahalo Susan for hosting. This is great fun and I encourage everyone to participate.

The Picture

Booming voice. “Susan do not sail me like you drove the Yaris. No Titanic events allowed as we sail to take you back home to West Virginia!”

Have a Captain Jack Sparrow Microfiction Monday.

Hey, it’s only my opinion.

  1. LOL!! I love it!! I can see Susan at the wheel already!! Hope you have a great week, Thom!

    Sylvia

  2. Nice on Thom, how can we forget the Yaris. Susan and Titanic, Well Titanic was built in Ireland.

  3. Thom to the rescue, we need Susan back in West Virginia in one piece. No Titanic moments please!
    Very inventive, love it!

  4. Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy President’s Day too. You are the Macro Daddy Oof Micro Fiction. I love the deep blue sky in the picture. :)

    • Mahalo my friend. Well I’m not so sure about that but I sure do enjoy doing it. I really like this photo as well. Susan picked out a good one :)

  5. Susan is going to look mighty strange on the bridge of that ship in her Star Trek uniform!

  6. I have seen them in the 90th, quiet impressive !
On the other side they had started (in the 70th) a monument for the ex Indians today American natives, but it still hasn’t been finished.
You have so many happy days, I can’t follow, lol ! We don’t even have a “King’s” day !

  7. ice berg here don’t be sil- oops

  8. Sounds like a fun trip home. I prefer Captain Morgan.

    Microfiction Monday

  9. You always do a great job on these Thom. Methinks I may have to try Microfiction Monday,I need a new challenge, maybe once I’ve finished my posts about the holiday. :)

  10. OMG, I thought this was great, but when I read Quilly’s comment and your answer I just couldn’t stop laughing!

I think it would be WAY COOL to sail a pirate ship across the Atlantic — although getting it to land-locked West Virginia might pose a challenge, unless there’s a good-sized tractor beam handy.

You know I loved it ROFL

  11. I’m thinking the holadeck with Susan and Thom would be a might strange place indeed! Add Johnny Depp and they are literally sunk!

    • ROFLMAO!!! Well can we have some of your baked goods first? Being there, especially with a Pirate and a Moon Woman well who knows what’s going to happen so I need comfort food LOL

  12. Now I’m thinking of John Denver’s country roads :)

  13. now that would be quite a show!
you never cease to amaze, my friend :)

  14. You are too funny!

And yet, I can hear that booming voice while watching Susan grimace, then giggle hysterically. Another winning Monday my friend.

Now just one question: why is it I can only post a comment here on Mondays?

  15. Gotta love it… and getting Susan home without a Titanic event seems a prudent enterprise. Nice entry Thom.

    Cheers friend!

  16. LOL A Yaris cannot be compared to a pirate ship….I love that picture!!!
