The young lad shivered as he jumped into the cool mountain lake. The curglaff he felt was almost unbearable and it almost took his breath away. But he survived the initial shock and began to frolic happily about. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a glistening object floating on the surface. It instantly gave him a heimish feeling as if an angel had waved a magic wand and all his worries were gone.

As he swam closer to the object, that he hoped would be auriferous, a fear took over. He began to lose his swimming ability. His thought processes began to shut down. The water began to close in all around him. The object began to disappear from his site as he sank deeper and deeper into the abyss on the mountain lake. What was wrong he wondered?

Reaching up Buddy saw a silver handle. The water began to flow and his mom’s diamond wedding ring began to sparkle even more as it was captured in the tide pool and began spinning around the toilet. Buddy quickly ran back to his bed and continued his nap.

Going up on stage and taking the microphone Philip, speaking with fatuity, said “I am the man. You are the subjects. I hereby order you to vote for me for your class President.”

The crowd in the auditorium did not take these words well. Helen, commanding an audience every time she spoke, retorted “You order us! We are subjects! Who do you think you are?” The words echoed in the hall as almost everyone began chanting a jeremiad “WE ARE NOT YOUR SUBJECTS”.

“I am the man. You are the subjects. I hereby order you to vote for me for your class President” Philip responded.

Hearing those words again, Helen went up the stage, gabbed the microphone out of Philips hand and in her typical panjandrum fashion said “I am woman. Hear me roar.”

Philip got one vote in the election. Helen won by a landslide and later became a famous recording artist.

TP4WW UPDATE

Yes it is Wednesday and Yes you are reading my Three Word Thursday a day early but there is a method to my madness. You see once again I’m going to a roil the proverbial pot so to speak. I’m going home to where I first started blogging.

Now I know that most of you will not gawp at this decision because it wont affect you in the slightest. But to me it will have a HUGE impact. I’m sure you are by now wondering what I’ve got up my sleeve and what do I mean by going home. As you may or may not know my blog is hosted by Bluehost. I have been with them for over a year and during that time I have seen and experienced a jejune attitude from them on my part, especially when it comes to customer service. And I’m tired of it. I pay good money and it just irritates me to no end to have to go through what I do. So…….

I’m transferring my blog back to Web Considerations and they will be my host. Again, as you may or may not know Bert hosted my blog when I first started and I’m going back to where I belong. I’m very excited about this and cannot wait to do this. Bert has helped me with this blog and ScuttleButtMoTv in countless ways. He designed my theme for this blog last year and helped me with this current theme. Whenever I run into a problem he is always there and always makes me feel like I am important. The customer service that he provides is outstanding and many companies could learn and should take a page or two from his playbook. I cannot thank him enough for all he has done.

So what does this mean for you? My blog will be down for a while. This process is scheduled to begin at 7:30 AM, tomorrow 5/27/10. It shouldn’t take long but if you try and access my blog and can’t get through this will be the reason. Also there might be some hiccups or something after the transfer has happened. Knowing Bert the way I do I don’t think there will be any but if there is please just bear with me. They will be addressed. Also I ask you to please keep me posted if you notice any type of slow down with this blog or ScuttlButtMoTv as well. I have one quiz scheduled for Thursday but that will be it so if you cannot comment no worries. I will not be doing Thursday Thunks or The Dating Profiles Meme this week. Now you see why my Three Word Thursday is posted today.

OLD vs. NEW

Floating around in his head were many delenda from his past. They were so engrained that it was driving him nuts and he was having a hard time thinking of just where to begin. It was an imbroglio so he just decided to dive in and start. With tantivy thinking he began and everything seemed to begin to unlock and new things were entering his head. He knew he would conquer going from a PC to a MAC.

The Macaw

Trying to help the poor old lady, Scooter cried out with a gardyloo:

“Lady watch out! Can’t you see what is above you?”

Not hearing Scooter the old lady continued to sit on the bench reading her comic book. Scooter feared for the worst and began waving his arms and making a commotion that was not swoopstake. If anyone would have seen him they would have thought the young man had gone insane. Finally the old lady noticed Scooter as he yelled again “WATCH OUT!”

But it was too late. The old lady was very wanion. A bird from the tree hovering over the bench took a crap and it landed right in the middle of her comic book just as she was closing it and crap spewed all over her.

Scooter whistled and the Macaw flew on to his shoulder and he laughed all the way down the pathway.

Some people just don’t heed advice he thought.

This Friday, March 26th, is Prince Kuhio Day here. It is to celebrate the birth of Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana’ole. It is a State Holiday here which means I have a three day weekend and I’m going to be away. No posts and no commenting from yours truly.

On another note when I do come back there will be another change in TP4WW. I’m going to be moving Microfiction Monday, Tales on Tuesday, Sensational Haiku Wednesday, Three Word Thursday and Flash 55 to their new home. They are going to be sharing living quarters with Portrait of Words. Yes you can click that link to get the location. I’ve just decided that all my writing exercises are going to be put in one place. It just seems logical to me.

So kiddies, play nice while I’m gone. I’ll hopefully see you on Monday.

Old man Manfred needed a new cromack and needed it quickly. His was old and was fissiparous with each step he took. He worried he would soon become like an accidie. Manfred knew that having one in the house was enough, and further, how would he be able to wait hand and foot on his wife without it?

The door burst opened and in came Yelleka. Poor old BobbyEarl. He let out the biggest eructate from the shock of his sister entering and turned red as a beat.

“You three thought that you could fool me? You thought I didn’t know what was going on?” she hollered at them. Looking down at the three of them made it seem, yet again, that they were all in a noctambule trance she thought.

“What do you mean?” JerriLynn said with a coxcomb tone.

“Don’t give me that attitude JerryiLynn” she spat back. “I’ve been listening to the three of you for years now. I’ve planted listening devices all over the place. You two twins are the most evil people I know and you drag poor BobbyEarl into every one of your schemes” she retorted.

“Well we had to think of something to throw you off the trail of what we were really doing” BettySue said innocently “So we came up with the plan that JerriLynn would think that I tarnished my Strawberries and you would handle the case. It would be just long enough for the testing to be done” she continued.

“We signed a confidentiality agreement Yelleka” JerriLynn chimed in. “We couldn’t let anyone know and were afraid that if you got wind of this you would contact them and then we wouldn’t get our money. And it’s a lot of money.”

“Who do you think contacted the company and had them offer you the idea of becoming testers for them?” Yelleka asked.

Yelleka had put them through yet another test and they failed miserably as usual. When would they learn they could trust their eldest sister with anything she wondered. Maybe one day! She turned and stormed out of the room dropping a piece of paper on her way out:

BettySue knew that her sister JerriLynn had a temper. She was like that all her life. From the time that they were young girls JerriLynn carried much amarulence towards BettySue. Her identical twin was always bringing up the fact that she was the second one born. Their parents had tried to reassure her always that it didn’t matter. They loved them both equally. But JerriLynn never accepted that. Yelleka was the eldest of the sisters, BettySue was the first twin born and BobbyEarl was the baby of the family, and the only boy. All of this made her feel overlooked. This continued on through high school and into their adult lives. Then when their parents had been killed in a horrific car accident JerriLynn just seemed to get worse. Yelleka was a very successful attorney by then and all the children were left well off from their parent’s estate. Yelleka had made sure to write their parents Will so that all the siblings were each given the same share. JerriLynn felt she didn’t get an equal share and the other three were well aware of that fact.

BettySue knew from the time she was a child that she wanted to be a tragematopolist and with all the money she was left opened her candy shop and was successful within a few short months. She had a gift when it came to candy. BobbyEarl worked in the store with her as his love for candy was just as great. JerriLynn on the other hand squandered most of her inheritance on frivolous items. Yelleka warned her not to defedate the generous gift their parents had left her but she ignored her older sisters words of advice. It drove poor Yelleka insane always having to “handle” JerriLynn but she resigned herself to that fact and knew it was her role as the big sister.

“Hello Yell. How are you?” BettySue said answering her phone in the shop. Thank goodness for caller ID she thought.

“Hi BS” Yelleka responded. “I’m sure you have heard what happened to JerriLynn. Did you do anything to those Chocolate Covered Strawberries?” she asked.

“Yell, you know me better than that. I have a reputation to uphold here. She’s my twin for goodness sakes. Why would I do that?” queried BettySue.

“BS, you’ve been known to have a temper just like JerriLynn. We know that she went off the deep end after Ma and Pa were killed and has always felt like she got screwed with the money, but I find it hard to believe she would do something like eat ex-lax and blame it on your strawberry candies. Now tell me what you did!” Yelleka demanded.

“I devised a plan and all ll I did was tell her that I discontinued them because I was going to start a new line. Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts. I never saw her again in the store after that. And yes Yell they are becoming an overnight sensation.” BettySue said proudly knowing that the Nut’s assectation, namely the Strawberries, could become a formidable challenge to top. But they were well on their way.

Listening, Yelleka heard laughter in the background. “What is BobbyEarl laughing at BS?”

“I guess something on this iPod Yell.”

“You know she is allergic to Nuts. You are an evil woman BS” Yelleka snapped.

“And I have many customers that adored my Strawberries and JerriLynn left me with none every time I made them. I had to do something.”

“Let me talk to her again. BS you swear to me this is the truth? Don’t lie to your big sister!”

“Yell I promise you” BettySue said ending the conversation with the appropriate goodbyes.

“Did she buy it?” BobbyEarl and JerriLynn asked BettySue in unison.

JerriLynn was fuming mad. She knew that BettySue tainted the chocolate covered strawberries with what must have been ex-lax. The toilet paper had been her odynometer. Six rolls in a day and a half! It was no wonder her buttocks were on fire leaving JerriLynn in excruciating pain. Lying still on a towel covered with ice she decided she need to call Yelleka.

Yelleka was a brilliant attorney. She knew both JerriLynn and BettySue from childhood and was shocked at the story that JerriLynn was relating to her over the phone.

“I’m going to get even with that bitch if it is the last thing I do. You think a brephophagist is evil, well you haven’t seen anything yet” JerriLynn spat.

“Calm down” Yelleka said in a very soothing voice. “Revenge is never an answer JerriLynn. You know that as well as I do. First and foremost, you don’t know if she had anything to do with tainting the strawberries….”

“I haven’t eaten anything else since I purchased them. She had to do something to them” JerriLynn interrupted. “I know her. My sister is as evil as me.”

“As I was saying there are other possibilities to factor into the equation. Bad strawberries. Bad chocolate. An unsanitary kitchen. Just to name a few. You are acting, JerriLynn, as if she is guilty before we know all the facts. We will question her and see what she knows and proceed from there” Yelleka responded. Continuing. “We will be prepared like the great sagittipotent William Tell. If our first set of questions do not produce the truth, we will rely on our back-up set of facts and blackmail her” the eldest of the three sisters said. “And before you ask, it’s a metaphor to his arrows JerriLynn” Yelleka smiled.

Yelleka had dirt on both her sisters and hoped she never would have to resort to using it, but if worse came to worse, she would. JerriLynn would not rest until BettySue paid a price for those tainted chocolate covered strawberries.

As regular as clock work, in fact it was hebdomadal JerriLynn would go to the candy store and extirpate the chocolate covered strawberries. This didn’t make BettySue, the proprietor, happy. First and foremost BettySue had other customers that loved her best sellers and after JerriLynn left there were none to sell. Secondly it took BettySue almost a full day to make the delicious item so she only had them for sale three times during the week.

BettySue tried in vain different ways to prepare the chocolate, changed the day’s she would make them, and even changed the price. But nothing worked. JerriLynn would always show up, once a week, and buy out the full day’s supply leaving many other unhappy customers. The taste, the days, the price didn’t deter people from loving them and making it her best seller. Until one day, BettySue got a facinorous idea. It worked so well, she never saw JerriLynn in her store again. Everyone was happy.

Poor JerriLynn. Couldn’t leave the toilet. The ex-lax was doing it’s job perfectly.

My heartfelt thanks, gratitude and love go to Susan at Stony River Farm. I told her what I was up to and she said if she could be of any help let her know. Well she ended up, proofing the whole thing, making the necessary corrections, linking everything and just helped me with this in ways that I cannot even begin to comprehend how I would have done this by myself. It’s not like she has a family to contend with, writing and blogging to do, live her life and just deal with the day to day duties a mother, wife, author, friend and woman have to do. But then she takes this on. Susan I owe ya sister. You will never ever understand how grateful I am for not only you doing this for me, but your friendship. Many many Mahalos!!! xoxoxox

Once upon a time in a not so cynicocratical world, circa February 5, 2009, there was an isangelous lady that enjoyed not being volgivagant. She decided to create a fracas of a gentle kind. It would not be about numismatics as her perspicacious mind would not permit that. Rather than be opprobrious with all, she decided to dig deep into her quondam past.

Without any intentions of casuistry, and to help with the apanthropinization of all, she decided to go worldwide and not entertain just a paucity of people. With her zither playing in the background, and not one hitonious or teterrimous wrong note being heard, Quilly introduced the world to the most melliflous Three Word Thursday, and this was nothing to be making any sternutation at.

Now she knew that there might be some zoilist comments as people composed their anopisthograph, but the bacchante knew that everyone would enjoy this in the long run. In the beginning she was queachy wondering what she would say when someone wrote about a jibber perhaps, but overcame that quickly because she knew that words were in propinquity to her heart. She also knew that the susurrus she would hear from others would eventually turn loud and people’s nescience of words would evaporate. Three Word Thursday would be a huge success.

Sitting down with a jussulent cup one tenebrous day Quilly became ebullient the more she thought of this. The stars had aligned in a sublunary manner to make her feel this way. Oh how wonderful that these stars were showing Quilly much comity and she knew this was specious, even though it did have merit. Just at that moment, the rain started to fall. It came down in buckets creating an antediluvian atmosphere so Quilly took a pencil and started to write the rules on paper. ‘Very prolix‘ she thought. But it was ineluctable. Feeling much like a paladin when she finished the rules, Quilly had given birth to Three Word Thursday.

Knowing that she could not be intransigent, which she knew if she were, it would be cause invidious feelings in others, she decided to only use three words, even though she wanted to use more. Quilly also knew if more words were used it would cause people to quiddle, especially those uxorious types. Quilly wanted this meme to be as glabrous as a baby’s behind and not leave any rubefacient signs of embarrassment to those participating. So she also decided to hold this once a week, hoping that wouldn’t cause any senticous issues and that any thought or idea of divagations by all would be at a minimum, and that no one would become a niddering upon reading the instructions. Now all she needed was an amanuensis to get her rough draft onto her computer but since none was around, she started off doing it on her own, feeling a bit like a tyro in the process.

Not wanting the meme to be risible she had to invigilate the words she used. One could compare it to the eyes of a Mama Bear keeping a watchful eye on those stagnicolous creatures known as fish to capture and feed her young. A keen eye is one key to success. Not being an opsimath, Quilly would not have any problem keeping it a serious meme with obarmate words. Anything that Quilly does is done with much assiduity and this meme would be no different. And she knew better than to ask for words from her neighbor down the street, who was known as a phlyarologist. It had to be serious, she knew. In addition to this she had to make the meme pulchritudinous to the eyes of others so they would have a greater want to participate. She did this very well.

Needing a break from the meme and a summotion of herself from all computer work, Quilly took a break for a while. It wasn’t that she had acrasia, she just felt her mind was working murklins and that a oncethmus was in her head. She also didn’t want to her beloved Amoeba thinking she was sevidical. Besides, when she overworks on a project a morsicant pain overtakes her body. So she took the veteratorian approach and just put it aside.

She then looked over at her Amoeba to rogitate this question: “Hug me Love”. He always obliges. It always helps her get rid of that feeling when she is overworked of solipsistic that every once in a while creeps into her mind and she’s nequient to rid her own self of it. Now mind you, that doesn’t happen often. With tortiloquy she asks him if he would like to be a montivagant with her and go for a walk on the beach. Not at all vultuous he agrees and off they go. Amoeba is one smart man. He knows it’s always better to acquiesce with her in the long run. During the walk they see a tadpole in a small, nature made, litter covered pool on the beach. The duo doesn’t let the litter viliorate their walk on the beach and do their part by cleaning the small little pond up.

Upon their return home and with much ambition Amoeba says to Quilly that he will cook dinner and try not to pessundate the kitchen, by using an operiment on the pots. That way she can get back to her meme. She agrees and takes a bite out of the apple they got from the oporopolist while he begins to prepare dinner. Thinking he’s got a phalerae on his chest from a cooking school, and by force of habit creating a stibogram between the kitchen and the grill outside, Amoeba heads out to ponask their dinner. Meanwhile, Quilly isn’t all that set to get back to Three Word Thursday so she begins to daydream about stiricide and her former ruricolous life. Not wanting to start a quibbleism within her own mind, she gets back to work on Three Word Thursday, with the scent of dinner obrumpent through the windows. She gives a big smile.

With very little temeration and not wanting to obstrigillate her self imposed deadline for the release of her baby, she begins the ossifragant task of putting the finishing touches on it. She thinks that it must be what a bride feels when she is mariturient. ‘Geeze, get busy Quilly‘ she thinks. She doesn’t want to misqueme herself by not having it finished. Rather, she wants to have it be like the bowl of candy sitting right next to her that she bought from the tragematopolist: all nicely packaged and pleasing to the eye.

Just then Amoeba enters the vacivity of their kitchen with a tenellous piece of cooked meat for their dinner. It will be very utible to fill their stomachs, Amoeba announces. Quilly, being the smart woman she is, takes this as a sign of another break which suits her just fine. So like a nubivagant angel she sets the dinner table.

After the divine dinner, Quilly is determined to get back to work and this time finish the meme. Just then she smells a maleolent aroma and looks out the window and sees a familiar man that exudes xenization. ‘Poor thing,’ she thinks. Pure pigritude, the way he lives. He has the tenacity to suffarcinate himself with a spiscious Split Pea Soup that causes him to fart as he walks. ‘It’s disgusting,’ she says to herself and, not wanting to get in a tristifical mood, starts a confabulation within herself that will not pudify her.

‘My meme might not be on a rimestock but I will be an aretaloger and be proud of it. Three Word Thursday wont be kexy and it won’t be stored in a gardeviance, but it will be mine and my computer will store it proudly.’ Being an aquabib, Quilly takes another sip of water and puts the finishing touches on the meme. She smiles and is proud of what she has accomplished. It is anything but ficulnean. Heck, even someone with a bad case of brochity and a speech impediment could pronounce these words and use them in a story. ‘That’s the beauty,’ she continued with her conversation to herself. ‘They will be as easy to say in a conversation with someone as they are to write. And anyone that doesn’t think so can go outside and use the yelve to do gardening as punishment.’

With the patration of Three Word Thursday and her aeipathy for writing, it gave Quilly great lubency to finally decide that it was ready to be released to the public. And that she did. Over the year of its release it has become a great success. This opportunity to adimpleate one’s knowledge base with all these words has been fantastic. It is like it is pamphagous. Once you get started, it just consumes you with the desire to create better stories and makes you look forward to the words for the next week. Three Word Thursday would be incompossible if Quilly wasn’t around. You can harl your feet but you can never thropple Three Word Thursday. Even if one has scaevity, we still try to gnathonize and not roblet Quilly as we all present her weekly a new or continuing Three Word Thursday.

Congratulations Quilly on a great year of Three Word Thursday. It’s awesome to participate in. You make this fun and exciting and I look forward to the next year. “Hear ye, hear ye!” the town crier yelled. “It is the Queen’s desire, so as not to roblet her subjects, to inform you that as of today there will be a new Royal Ass Kisser.” The town crier had to hide his laughter at the thought.

“Will Her Highness be choosing one of her subjects?” a voice yelled back with sounds of scaevity spewing from his mouth.

Still trying to hide his laughter, the town crier yelled back “Heavens no. The Royal Ass Kisser shall be a pure bread bred with the bluest of blood. Her Highness is not here to gnathonize her subjects you fool. And there will certainly not be any commoners lips on Her Majesty’s buttocks!”

Feeling his scaevity gone, because no commoner would have to have the job, the voice cried back to the town crier “Sir, do you mean that the Royal Ass Kisser really as to kiss the Queen’s ass?”

The town crier yelled back “Of course, especially after Her Highness walks down the aisle and says Her “I Do’s” with the Royal Ass Kisser!” Not being able to contain himself any longer, the town crier was rolling on the pedestal laughing hysterically.

“I Do.” said the town crier.

It is that time of the week. One I look forward to a great deal. And by the way Quilly, mahalo for hosting Three Word Thursday. It’s a blast and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy it. Beverly wanted to thropple something. She had never been so upset in her entire life. She was taught from a very early age that in order to succeed in this big old world that you had to practice and be your best at all times. She did all the tasks that were required. From the sack of potatoes she had to harl to walking a tight rope. She did them all and did them well. She didn’t understand why the variety of different tasks and what it all had to do with the position she wanted, but she didn’t complain. And for what? She failed.

Walt had chosen another girl. He said to all of them “My world cannot be complete and is incompossible with the wrong girl to play the part of Baby New Year 2010. Congratulations Matilda, Walt Disney World’s 2010 Baby New Year.”

Beverly would try again next year. If she was closer to Walt she is sure he would be dead by now. She would just have to watch the festivities on TV and hope that Matilda makes an ass of herself at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve atop the Walt Disney Castle.
