Hmmm what is my blog about. Well it’s about anything I want it to be really. But for the most part this blog is all about the readers and commentors. A dear friend of mine always has said that the comment section takes on a life of it’s own and in many respects is better than the post itself. There is nothing more true than that statement. There have been many great friendships formed and this playground you can do and say as you please. I do a lot of meme’s. Why? Because I like to give answers that are just off the wall and be a basic smart ass. LOL. Read me, you’ll get to know how I am. I do some story writing and I do a quiz every Monday through Friday. When I find out about birthday’s and anniversary’s and the such I post them as well. In a nut shell, it’s craziness here. Life is very serious so I try and just make it light and a fun place to visit. Oh yeah, and I also answer every comment made on my blog…at least I try to. :) Aloha

    I can’t believe you’re posting as much as you are today. I consider this part of the holiday because hubby had the day off. It’s been blissfully relaxing.

    Whoa! That’s a heck of a lot of blogs. I can’t hop to near that many! Are you going to visit them all? I notice they didn’t all leave a comment. Did they even read your post? Will any of them be back?

    I want more out of my relationships — even my posting relationships — then “Wham bam, thank you ma’am.”

    And where did you finally post the announcment of the winner of your birthday contest? Why can’t I find it?

      Well if truth be told, which I’m going to tell, No Q. I’m not. After I posted this I saw some other comments from this and all they said was they are visiting because of this. I don’t particularly think that much reading the blog is on the mind. It’s all for comments I suppose. I am VERY let me repeat that VERY content with how many people read my blog now and with the fine group that always comes here and have become my friends, good friends at that. Maybe I might get some from this but hey, if I don’t, I couldn’t ask for a better family that participates here now. And as most are aware, I tend to comment a lot and get a lot of comments here so I’m happy. What more could anyone want.. Relationships Q…you hit the nail on the head. Excellent. Put alas, I see the new glasses that were mailed to you must be the wrong strength for your vision. The winner will be announced on Sunday, July 5th. Excellent comment…I hope you can read this :)

        I’m with Quilly on this one. Yup, but I can see you agree too. A charming guy who puts great comments, and has a fun blog going on like you do, does not need such huge blog events like these to attract extra visitors. Or it blows out of proportion and you can’t visit everyone back, or you get a lot of comment spammers visiting you really don’t care much about, but you feel obliged to visit them back. Thanks, but no thanks, that is why I’m backing away from huge meme’s like Wordless Wednesday or Sky Watch or stuff like that more than I used to before. I’m very very happy with the friends I have met, ( I have met a lot of great people through your blog too) I get more followers each week and I hate myself not being able to visit everybody each day. Never enough hours in a day as it is for me, so. I started out doing Nablopomo, and was very happy to collect three comments at the end of the second week, and look where I am now! It’s amazing.
        And I love it. I love comments just as much as you do.But I love my real friends more.

    I hadn’t heard of this. I have participated in similar carnivals and found a few new blog friends, but usually I find them by clocking comments on other people’s. I found you and Quilly through Melli’s blog comments.

    YOUR BLOG ROCKS, THOM!!!

    I think of it as a BIG train station where all the trains come together to get refueled and energized!

    And you’re so right…a blog is all about the readers and the participation and interaction between comments.

    And this place does that SO WELL!
