Association Meme and You Have Got To See This

Have you ever played the word association game? In that game, someone will say a word, then the next person says the first word they think of. Each person who follows simply says what ever word comes to mind, based on the previous word.
For instance:
Person 1: red
Person 2: bull
Person 3: pasture
Person 4: grass
etc.”
1. Anyone can play, whether they have been tagged or not.
2. Include the rules and logo in your post.
3. Copy out all the responses that were made before you.
4. Link to each of the people who responded before you.

On March 19, 2010, I got tagged by Hazel at Delineating Des ~ or attempting to ~. I had forgotten that I did this. So I don’t know if I’m breaking rules, but when I saw this yesterday at Alice Audrey’s I decided I wanted to play and since that post started with Excitement I decided I would do it again, as the rules let us do that, and follow the links up for this at Alice Audrey’s. Have I confused you all? Because I am. LOL Anyway, here’s how it has proceeded:

I don’t know how many of you read Harriet at Harriet and Friends but she is a wealth of information. Yesterday when I came to read her exciting Saturday 9 post she had the following on her blog:
It’s the blog that was set up as a family travel blog. The family was that of the sole survivor of a Libyan plane crash that killed 103 people. The blog has turned into a condolence register, with dozens offering sympathy to the nine-year-old Dutch boy orphaned by the crash. It’s in Dutch and as long as you are not in China, you can view it and use the translator to read it.
This touched me a great deal and I decided it was worth posting on my blog as well. I left a comment for Ruben, the sole survivor and everyone that lost their lives in that tragic accident and I would hope that you might make a visit and leave yours as well. Thank you my friend. I have seen Ruben on the TV. I think he is going home today, or went home. How tragic. I just hope that one day he will be able to look at how there is good in the world with all those comments when he has suffered one of the worst fates that anyone should ever have to endure.

Indeed my friend. I think every blogger does that. It is one of the beauties of blogging if you ask me. What one doesn’t know someone else does and presto it’s all over.
Ok Thom, let me tell you something a lot of people don’t realize. I learn technology in spurts. Prompted by sudden I need to do this now thoughts, and then I just coast along. My droid phone and i-pad are the I need to learn this now impetus’s in my life currently.
So since I never used google translator. And I know you’ve joined me on the dark side with your mac. can you tell me how?
I’d ask Curt ( he is a network admin after all ) but I’d give up an hour of my life in the process and I know it can’t be THAT hard.
LOL. Too funny. Google has a translator that you can get directly from them. It’s very easy too use. I’ll have to get back to you after work.
PS – I think we should all go out and find things to tag Quilly with. Hee hee hee – you just bring out the ebil in me!

Whoof!! Yup, feeling much better, Thom. I can chase the cat real good again now and am my bouncy old ‘pre-cancer’ self. I don’t even miss that ol’ toe. Life is good and I’m glad to be alive. Do you know how close it came to Mom putting me down? Wow, scary to think about it!!!
Yup I do know and I’m glad she had the strength to see it through. I’m glad that all is well with you. Who needs an extra toe anyway. More to have to clip the toenails LOL
