Musical Monday – What Moves You?
As you know I entered a Photo Contest. It’s called January’s Photo Contest: The New Year. Well, yes you are going to see this on every post and yes I know I’m pimping my entry, but oh well. How else am I gonna win? LOL. All kidding aside, if and when you go to the site, please just take a look around. There aren’t very many entries this month and people took time to do this and they are all good and depict the theme very well. So I would appreciate it if you would take the time to go HERE to vote for the one you think should win. Voting is open from January 24 through the 27th. You can only vote once. You have my undying gratitude. Mahalo!!!

This week also, the wonderful Diane announced that I didn’t know it’s the one year anniversary of Musical Monday. WOOT!!

Congratulations comments and graphics
In addition she is having a Musical Monday ~ One Year Anniversary Giveaway!. How cool is that? Mahalo Diane! You are the bomb. Direct from her blog comes the following:
To commemorate Musical Monday’s one year anniversary I’m doing a giveaway – a $15 ITunes card or Amazon.com gift certificate (your choice) so you can grab yourself some new tunes!
All you have to do to be in the drawing is play along this week and/or next week – January 25th and February 1st. (If you play both weeks your name goes in the hat twice, and doubles your chance of winning.)
And if you help spread the word by mentioning the giveaway in your MM post, I’ll throw your name in an additional five times (each week)!
I’ll announce the winner in January 8th’s MM post!
Easy enough, right?”
I am assuming she is talking about February 8th above. Anyway, you can head on over to Good Mourning Glory! – Musical Monday ~ One Year Anniversary Giveaway! for any more information.
Back in the day and still to this day, Disco has always been one of my favorites. One of the best of all times, in my opinion, is Thelma Houston and her song Don’t Leave Me This Way. It has got me moving this week. I hope you enjoy. I wont be around next week as I will be on the mainland on vacation. See ya after that.

Excellent song! Didn’t the Communards or someone cover it sometime later?
Meanwhile I’m stuck on Little River Band again this week. WHAT is going on.

I remember I had these older cousins back home who did disco every minute of their teen-ager life lol… Don’t Leave Me this way rather sounds romantic to me
