12 Strangers – #8
Ida at Idathue has a cool meme going on. The challenge goes something like this: 12 weeks. 12 strangers = 12 portraits. Here are the particulars direct from her blog:
1.: the person I take the picture of must be a stranger.
2.: show the pictures here every Tuesday for the next 12 weeks.
Bonus points for actually stopping a person and asking if I can take his/her picture.

Well I saw her sleeping at Kapiolani Park and took the photo. Nope, I couldn’t ask permission. She looked so peaceful sleeping how could I dare wake her up.

I don’t think I could feel comfortable sleeping alone out in public like that, but she sure looks cozy.

I agree with the others–kinda scary to be sleeping there. Especially after all that’s been happening around there (but maybe it got better).
Well they are trying to still clean it up. We shall see
I have taken photos of many sleeping strangers in Kapiolani park. It is like one big bed!
It’s gotten better a little. They aren’t letting those sleep there at night any longer. Or they do try and enforce that rule. We shall see

Awwwww… I like that picture. I am a complete and utter failure in the “strangers” meme… I keep forgetting. And while I will be somewhere today that would allow me to take stranger pictures, it’s not doing my blog any good NOW! *sigh*

A nap in the sunshine would be bliss. I used to love lying out on the grass but here we can’t; even on a sunny day the ground is always wet and cold. I wonder what the lady’s dreaming?
